Characters:
Percy Jackson: Percy is the main character and main protagonist of the story. Percy is brave and performs heroic deeds are throughout the story. He carries a pen that transforms into a sword around with him to protect himself from monsters that come and try to kill him. Percy is the son of Poseidon and he has the power to control water around him and he gets all of his wounds healed the second he steps in it.
Annabeth: Annabeth is the daughter of Athena and she is also very brave and heroic in ways. She travels with Percy on his dangerous quests to protect Percy and the camp from being destroyed. Annabeth. Percy and Annabeth fight together throughout the entire series and they face many monsters and evils that they eventually defeat together. Annabeth is a very skkilled fighter and she is very smart strategically.
Grover: Grover is also a protector of Percy and the camp Half Blood, he is also another protagonist that accompanies Percy on his quests and dangerous adventures. Grover is a saytr, half man and half goat and his main job is to protect Percy. Grover is Percy's protector, while Grover isnt as skilled as Annabeth and Percy, he still contributes to the group and goes on heroic quests. In the firts book, Grover is a coward and is scared of the monsters that come after Percy. In the first book, Percy had to take down a minotuar on his own, with just his sword. Overtime, throughout the books, grover becomes more and more brave and more of a hero throughout the series.
Conflict:
The conflict in this book is that Luke (son of Hermes and the villan) has poisoned the magical borders that protect camp Half Blood which make the shield uselss. that shield was the only thing protecting the young demi gods from the evil and monsters that all want them dead. In this book, Percy, Grover, and Annabeth go on a quest to get the golden fleece from an island that would help repair the tear in the magical in the borders. Little does Percy and his friends know, that Luke knows where to find this fleece and will try to kill them to prevent tham from getting it.
"Lights" by Ellie Goulding
I chose this song for this book because the song seemed like the right theme for the book. For me, a popish song (even though this is pop, haha) or one possibly made by Dj Kahled or Eminem wouldnt fit the theme or feel of the book. This song has a nice tune to it and is one of my personal favorites, and thourghout the song the author is telling a story and it kind of mathces the one being told in the book.

I thought this book was awesome just as the others were. Like I said before, these books add a different twist to the mythological myths and other old tales about Greek mythology. At first I was like really, they are actually making a series about Greek mythology, but my friend convinced me to read it and I did and it was the best Greek mythology book ive read in a long time. I really enjoyed reading and I guess learning about Greek mythology really, it really changed my point of view on anceint Greek Mythology.
